Pore Inspection on a Large Scale

Another FOCON in the custom size of 520mm has been shipped recently. Thus, scanware can cover Pore Inspection for widths on sachet and stick-pack machines. For the use on machinery without a guide surface, an adapted mechanics can be supplied to minimise external light influences. Using FOCON, material waste due to cracks and pores can be strongly decreased.

The unit uses near-infrared light. If any emission passes through the foil, a trigger for feeding inhibition and rejection is sent. The unit is adjustable in detection capacities between 25 and 500 μm.
