Bickenbach, Germany, 08/02/2019: The appearance of scanware electronic GmbH at Pharmapack this year was characterized by smart serialization systems. The image processing company presented its solutions and know-how at its booth from February 6th to 7th together with the French distributor DARRØN.
Starting from tomorrow Directive 2011/62/EU will be in force. Packaging for prescription-only medicines must now have a unique serial number in accordance with this directive. As an integrated system provider with 30 years of company history, scanware has in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging lines and offers a wide range of flexible and modular systems for serialization, aggregation, and tamper-proof labelling.
The stream of visitors at the booth showed that serialization is still a burning issue. "The response to our exhibited system CAPA MV was very good and shows that there is still a great need for expert advice on the topics of complete traceability and counterfeit protection of products," explains scanware area sales manager Giovanni -Franco Quintana. "Our serialization solutions meet the latest legal requirements. In combination with our long-time experience and our customer-centric consulting approach, we are able to implement serialization projects efficiently and in compliance with guidelines.”
